Iranian filmmaker Amir-Masoud Soheili has served as a jury member at the SAARC Film Festival in Sri Lanka.
Having judged at many international festivals before, the Iranian director served on the panel at the sixth edition of the SAARC Film Festival in Sri Lanka.
Soheili has directed so many award-winning short films, including ‘Blue Eyed Boy’, which has won awards in national as well as international festivals and was listed among the top short movies in the world.
Among its successes, ‘Blue Eyed Boy’ has grabbed the best cinematography award at the 2015 Unprecedented Cinema International Short Film Festival in Estonia. It also received the Honorable Mention award at the Avanca 2015 Film Festival in Portugal.
Since its inception in 2011, the SAARC Film Festival has been held in Sri Lanka, and with every year, it has gained a reputation for promoting and featuring some of the best films from the SAARC Region.
The sixth edition of the event was held on November 21-25 in the South Asian country.
